NORGAARD
Amanda Norgaard is a writer, a kundalini yoga teacher and the founder of ILLUMINATION. Amanda’s work is rooted in a mythopoetic ecology where she passionately weaves storytelling, mysticism and culture in her writing and teachings alike. Her work is dedicated to restoring a greater intimacy, curiosity and meaning of living life originally, freely and creatively. She takes her coffee mostly black, writes her best essays from bed and is entirely and devoutly in love with life; a love she aspires to share in her work.
Marieke McKenna
Marieke McKenna is a Scottish-Dutch philosopher, artist, researcher and curator based between the Netherlands and the U.K.
She is a specialist in cross-cultural perspectives on altered states of consciousness. At the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science she led the first oral history of lucid dreaming research, in collaboration with the Donders Institute, tracing how the lucid dream became an object of scientific inquiry.
Dreaming, imagination and inner space remain at the heart of her research and writing.

SHIVA
ROSE
Shiva Rose is the author of the best selling book Whole Beauty, and creator/alchemist of the non toxic skincare line Shiva Rose Beauty.
After being diagnosed with three life threatening auto immune diseases, Shiva began her pursuit of healing and clean living. She started her lifestyle web site The Local Rose in 2010, to document her journey, and the skin care line evolved from her kundalini meditation practice.
Shiva then studied Cha Dao, in the mountains of China, and is devoted to the Ways of Tea.

Linda is the Head of Operations for everything ILLUMINATION. This season she will lead the Roundtable accountability sessions.
Besides glitching the Matrix with ILLUMINATION, Linda is a specialist on back end structures and operations of startups and small business.

ABOUT AMANDA
Hi, I'm Amanda, founder of this wild, real and deep space that is ILLUMINATION. I'm an essayist, poet and kundalini yoga teacher.
I started THE MUSES because I longed for a creative community where we could melt and merge all the wild chapters of being a woman, into one book. I'm passionated, curious and excited about a lot of things, most of all life, and this is my finest and first intention with THE MUSES.
When does THE MUSES take place?
THE MUSES is a seasonal program running 4 times a year.
Where does THE MUSES take place?
All online workshops will be held via our virtual temple aka Zoom. Links to access and replay the workshops will be available on a private portal as well as sent out by email. Always remember to check your spam!
Who can join - Do I need any experience?
THE MUSES is for everyone who is curious and feels called to expand, deepen and broaden their human experience, alongside a supportive global community. You don't need any Kundalini Yoga or other spiritual and/or healing experiences prior. All you need is an open heart and mind!

Can I move my participation to a later round if I can't keep up?
